Your profile is viewable to the public by default. You have the option to make it private. Doing so hides your blog posts and trades from prying eyes, and keeps your updates out of search results. Your approval is also needed when other members want to follow you.

Make Private

1. To Make your Profile Private, click the green “Settings” link in the upper right corner of the page.
2. Click the green “Privacy” link on the left side of the page to access your privacy settings.
3. Click the “Make it private!” button. If done correctly, a message stating that your profile is private will appear.
   Note- Existing followers will automatically be approved to continue following you. If you don’t want an existing follower to follow you, under the Followers heading, click the red “Decline” link to the right of the username.

Make Public

1. To Make your Profile Public, click the green “Settings” link in the upper right corner of the page.
2. Click the green “Privacy” link on the left side of the page to access your privacy settings.
3. Click the “Make it public!” button. If done correctly, a message stating that your profile is public will appear.
   Note- This information will be visible to all other members unless you make your Profile private.
